Fleckney Sports Hall and Party Room get a lick of paint

Fleckney Parish Council is pleased to announce that following the recent decorations the sport hall and party room/meeting room are now complete and looking more fresh and modern to the eye. With more people coming to use the sports hall for Zumba, ballroom dancing, cheerleading and parties etc, it's great to have it looking brighter and more airy. The Sports Centre has been here for over 25 years and this is the first time the Sports Hall and Party Room/Meeting Room has had a lick of paint.

The meeting room/party room has still to get the flooring changed but it is looking cleaner and bigger as we get ready for the parties booked in this month and throughout the year. The room offers a great space to hold any party celebration from a 5 year olds birthday to a 60^th we can cater for all. The kitchen right next door can be interlinked via the shutters to allow access to the kitchen, making it easier for food to be served.

The party room can be also used as a meeting room whether it is for a club or business meeting we can adjust the tables to suit your needs from boardroom, theatre style, and horseshoe style to u-shaped and we can offer tea and coffee to get you refreshed before your meeting and during your meeting. We also offer accessories packs with flipcharts, paper and pens and a white board available for your use. The room is already being used by Leicestershire County Council, Harborough Borough Council and for various Annual general meetings and comes highly recommended.

Boogie Bods

Ballroom Dance Class

New ballroom and Latin dance class taking place at the Sports Centre for all those dance enthusiasts. Ever fancied a flutty around the dance floor? with the help of an instructor you will be able to get those two left feet under control. Come to our beginner class held here at the Sports Centre from 8pm-9pm on a Wednesday evening.

£2.00 per session.

Adult Boxercise Classes

Boxercise class for adults. No need to book just come along and pay as you go. Kelton McKenzie has a boxing career spanning over 10 years and worked his way to a professional title and ranked 4th in the UK (15 in the commonwealth).
Boxercise is an excellent way to keep fit as it encompasses both aerobic and anaerobic excerise. Activities are designed to incorporate active contact without and physical contact.

Zumba Classes

Adult Zumba 16+ is currently one of the fastest growing fitness programmes. It fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away.

Forever Young 40+

For those that like a bit of variety. Forever young offers Table Tennis with a qualified coach coming in every second week to give you tips and practise skills. The second part of the session is Badminton. Were you can come and play in a social enviroment, maybe even grab a cup of tea or coffee afterwards.
